Step-by-Step: How to Become a Cleared Volunteer
Step 1: Complete District Requirements & Application
1. Visit the VVUSD Volunteer Portal:
2. Fill out the online application. We recommend selecting “Field Trip Volunteer” – this gives you clearance for both classroom and field trip support.
3. Complete your fingerprinting and TB screening. Instructions are available on the volunteer portal.
4. Wait for district approval. Your application will be reviewed by school administration and the Family Engagement Office.
